Developments In Technology May Help Diagnose MS In The Future October 6, 2008
Scientists at the University of Leeds have developed a hand-held device that they claim can test for serious conditions including multiple sclerosis (MS), using a tiny sample of blood or urine. If trials are successful the researchers hope the technology could be available in three to five years. The device works by looking for tell-tale signs of a condition from the molecules present in the blood (called biomarkers).
